Organisations today are very familiar with buying in expertise to solve a particular problem, however remodelling is radically different. The expertise being brought to bear on change is not to do with ‘content’ but with ‘process’ and how you go about tackling change by leveraging existing staff knowledge and skills. This can be very challenging as it requires some individuals to relinquish control, and others to take up their own authority. The process is deceptive as it appears simple, but is extraordinarily powerful and has proven to be an outstanding success in delivering change.
