About Piscari EcoBuild

Piscari EcoBuild offers its clients high quality, low cost, environmentally responsible construction projects. Our particular focus is the build of schools, social housing and healthcare facilities where there is a need for rapid delivery.

In Africa, we are working in partnership with The FA to support the delivery of the Brown/Sarkozy promise, which is to get 16 million children in Africa into education before the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. It will achieve this by bringing together two key elements. Building new schools using a high quality, carbon efficient panel structure that qualifies for Certified Emission Reductions. Then, following construction, Piscari Ecobuild will staff the schools and provide a 3 year programme of high quality teacher training, leadership training and curriculum support to ensure sustainability.

Piscari EcoBuild is approaching governments in Africa to provide sites for new schools and a pledge to meet the base funding for teachers, support staff and pupil materials. In tandem, the company is also inviting private and public companies to sponsor its school projects by financing the construction costs and programme of education services. Sponsors will benefit from supporting their corporate social responsibility, getting branding and PR opportunities associated to the 2010 World Cup and will receive carbon emission reductions.

For delivery of its construction projects, Piscari EcoBuild has partnered two world class organisations:

  1. Gleeds for vital due diligence services
  2. Scott Wilson for carbon efficient construction expertise and project management services

For delivery of its education services, Piscari EcoBuild has partnered Piscari Learning.

Piscari EcoBuild is led by its Chairman, The Right Honourable Stephen Byers.
